Seed Planting

A focused 3-hour communication session addressing one specific communication challenge.

The Seed Planting Session is a focused, three-hour introductory engagement with the Grounded Voices approach. It is designed for individuals or teams who want to experience this work firsthand — to understand how it feels, what it addresses, and whether it is the right fit — before committing to a larger programme.

In three hours, we choose one specific communication challenge. We explore it honestly and practically. And we begin to work through it — with tools you can use immediately.

The name reflects the intention: a seed planted with care, given the right conditions, grows into something far larger than the moment it was placed in the ground. This session is that moment.

Who this is for

  • Individuals who are curious about the Grounded Voices approach but not yet ready to commit to a full programme
  • Teams who want to experience a sample of the work before bringing it to a larger group
  • Professionals facing a specific, immediate communication challenge — an upcoming presentation, a high-stakes interview, a difficult conversation — who need targeted, practical support
  • Organisations exploring a communication training partnership with Grounded Voices
  • Anyone who has heard about this work and wants to feel it before deciding

What happens in the session

Every Seed Planting Session is shaped around the participant’s specific communication challenge. The session typically moves through:

Arrive

We begin with breath and body — arriving in the room before we begin to work. This is not preamble. It is the first practice.

Identify

We name the specific communication challenge — clearly, honestly, and without judgement. What is the situation? What is currently happening? What would you like to shift?

Integrate

We close with a clear set of next steps — what to practise, what to notice, and what the path forward looks like if you choose to continue.

Why participants recieve

  • A focused three-hour session
  • Practical tools relevant to your specific communication challenge
  • An introduction to the Grounded Voices methodology and approach
  • Clear next steps and recommendations for continued development
  • Session notes and relevant resources from the Grounded Voices library

Next steps after the session

Many participants choose to continue with a full individual programme after a Seed Planting Session. Others take the tools and continue independently. There is no obligation and no pressure.

If you decide to continue, Grounded Voices will recommend the most appropriate next offering based on what emerged in the session — and the work you have already begun will carry forward.

“Many professionals who experience communication anxiety have tried to fix the problem at the level of words — preparing more slides, memorising more content, practising more scripts.
This programme works differently. It starts where nerves actually live: in the nervous system, the breath, and the body.”
